- Inspections and surveys of eroded turbine parts

Special sediment management measures
- Temporary shutdowns of run-of-river hydropower plants and/or closing of intakes during high sediment loads (floods) based on real-time sediment data
- Increased, controlled transfer of fine sediments via power waterways to reduce reservoir sedimentation
